3kings jam with a variety of featured guitarists and vocalists!

3kings live depicts the journey from the early days with Joe to the illustrious moments with Bob. Mark sits in for some Hendrix-esque Red House and Otis Rush note for note. Ash’s fresh new axes are always a treat. Kerry, Keith, Mike, Josh, and loads of great talent have shared the stage at great parties. Dan’s mentorship helped create a vibe of openness to the various elements of blues rock and the community of jammers.

Fashion is cyclical and when Zeppelin fused tradition with progressive rock the world’s eyes opened. The kids went insane and the purists pondered. In this modern village, the philosophies of the flower children hold true, as does the blues. Some say that insinuating theft is harsh but copyright courts decided credit and compensation be given. And as others make claims, the traditional versions come to light again and again. Not just Zeppelin! Hendrix and ZZ Top are also famous for it, too. Still, credit where credit is due. Years later, these classics are being re-interpreted at venues that love the blues, by some of the best known musicians who have ever worked a lick.

Remembering that glorious day in April 2012 when they shot 3kings with their TV cameras, seems like yesterday. Here’s the remix:
