STREETFEST! Queen Street East rocked hard last night and the homies showed a ton of apprec. for this band. Beaches Street Festival is a part of Beaches International Jazz Festival and all that too…
You just can't have 50 jazz bands all over the streets. Though it might be a fascinating experience, the musos and musees of this festival are as diverse as the rocks in Lake Ontario's Kew Beach and that's what brings the tourists. Party responsibly this weekend as there are residents very close to the action (they went to the cottage). btw Yiannis Kapoulas and Johannes Linstead are bringing the world guitar sounds Yiannis' father RIP made some beauty triple neck guitars which depict their family's ethnic diversity. That's just the guitarists that will keep up to Ayden's shredding. The other thing is, I've never seen Queen Street so damned horny! Sax, Bones and Trumpets all over the curbside. And remember: glissandos are legal in Toronto! So is dancing and I almost forgot how much joy there is in watching children dance.
