also, there’s some judgement calls when it comes to what constitutes a venue. some places are pubs and don’t really have a stage or sound system while other places do have, they might not have original music. if you have a venue in mind for this list, please send a link using the comments below or facebook. it will be included for your effort.

in toronto, streets running East and West through Yonge are indicated. ie Queen Street East or West. btw is Yonge still the longest street in North America?

there’s a city kept list which means there is no maintenance . i guess everything they have listed still has license to make noise. some of these are great like LOLA and Emmett Ray but they don’t have all the ‘venue’ attributes.
